Artificial turf maintenance

Artificial turf is low maintenance, not no maintenance. Fibers mat down in traffic lanes, infill migrates, leaves and pollen collect in the thatch, and pet areas need rinsing. A few minutes a week prevents most of the problems people blame on the product.

Use the schedule as your checklist, and the individual guides for brushing, debris, winter and end-of-life decisions. For dirt, stains and odors, see the cleaning guides.
